Prime AutoBase is a specialist European-vehicle workshop in New Zealand, built for owners who expect dealer-level precision without the dealership distance. From routine WoF to deep diagnostics and full restoration, every car is treated like our own.
With 20+ years across BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, Land Rover and beyond, we find the root cause rather than swapping expensive assemblies — and we explain it in plain language, with honest timelines and pricing.
You deal directly with the people doing the work, not a service desk. We keep you informed at every step and use quality OEM and OES parts so your car stays exactly as its makers intended.

I had a great experience with Prime Autobase! I brought in two of my vehicles that had some body damage and needed repairs and repainting. Andrei personally handled everything and he and his team did fantastic work on both cars. He’s friendly, professional, and clearly knows what he’s doing. The quality of the repair and paint job was excellent and both vehicles came back looking like new. His service was very quick, with a much faster turnaround than I expected, and his prices were very reasonable and fair. I’ll be bringing my work van to him next for some repairs, and from now on, I’ll be using Prime Autobase for all of my vehicle repair needs. I had an exceptional experience with Prime Autobase! Great communication throughout, open, honest, very respectful & great pricing. I brought my 30 year old car to recharge the A/C. As they pulled out the cabin filter, I heard "Never seen this kind of filter before" 😀 Nevertheless, they managed to find one which fits the slot & paid great attention to detail doing so. AC is working really good now, I am so grateful!

This workshop deserves the great Five Star rating that they have. I've just had my car AC gas refilled. Great, quick, efficient service. Another five stars to them.
They have already done three jobs for me (in different areas), and all were completed professionally, quickly, and at a very reasonable price. Communication is swift and clear, so I can understand all the necessary details without getting too deep into technical mumbo-jumbo. I definitely trust them with all my car needs and am happy to recommend them.
